About pfmitza

Short Description:

I love making music. I've been a Trance music producer for about 2 years and I'm still learning and trying to make awesome music hoping that one day I will be able to earn my living from it.

The awesome truth:

"When you buy from an independent artist you are buying more than just a painting or a novel or a song. You are buying hundreds of hours of experimentation and thousands of failures. You are buying days, weeks, months, years of frustration and moments of pure joy. You are buying nights of worry about paying the rent, having enough money to eat, having enough money to feed the children, the birds, …the dog. You aren’t just buying a thing - you are buying a piece of heart, part of a soul, a private moment in someone’s life. Most importantly, you are buying that artist more time to do something they are truly passionate about; something that makes all of the above worth the fear and doubt; something that puts the life into living.” - (Rebekah Joy Plett)

My Favorite Genres description:

Uplifting trance (often synonymous with epic trance, anthem trance, emotional trance, or euphoric trance) is a large subgenre of Trance music. The name, which emerged in the wake of progressive trance in 1996, is derived from the feeling which listeners claim to get. It originated from Germany, is massively popular in the trance scene, and is one of the dominant forms of electronic dance music (EDM) worldwide. Historically it is related to the emergence of psychedelic trance and the two styles influenced each other. Classical music strongly influenced the development of uplifting trance which integrates orchestral elements, with film music also considered influential. The subgenre contains extended breakdowns and the melodic part of the song usually consists of Saw/Square type sounds while the harmonic element usually consists of synth choir/voice/string chord progressions with beautiful and emotional male or female (woman) voices. There is a close relation between uplifting trance and uplifting house. Uplifting trance very commonly employs side-chain compression, a modern production technique.

Progressive house is a style (subgenre) of house music. The progressive house style emerged in the early 1990s. It initially developed in the United Kingdom as a natural progression of American and European house music of the late 1980s. The genre was heavily influenced by trance in the 1990s and later by big room house and Eurodance in the mid-2000s. As of November 2014, the genre is rated first in a list of top genres at TopDeejays.

Deep house is a subgenre of house music that originated in the 1980s, initially fusing elements of Chicago house with 1980s jazz-funkand touches of soul music. The lengths of the tracks are usually around 7 and 10 minutes and lie between 120-130 bpm. This style of house music can often have an acoustic feeling. Deep house has gained popularity over the years according to Beatport, being one of its top sellers among genres. Deep house is known for complex melody, use of unrelated chromatic chords underlying most sequences, and a soul, ambient, or lounge vibe to the vocals (if any). In the early compositions (1988–89), influences of jazz music were most frequently brought out by using more complex chords than simple triads
